Sales engineer

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You manage a network of existing customers and convince new customers of your added value. Leads are obtained through enquiries or via the business development manager.
• You build up a comprehensive knowledge of the products.
• You can identify customer needs and convert them into sales opportunities.
• You provide maximum guidance to the customer in order to deliver an appropriate and well-founded offer. You can count on the help of the office staff, but you can also set to work yourself.
• You process your daily results correctly in our management system.
• Together with the sales department, you are responsible for the realisation of the set targets.
• You will be mainly active in the construction department.
• You report directly to the Sales Manager.

Our client is active in the field of constructional engineering and is currently managed by the second generation. They offer total solutions for their customers. This can range from supporting structures in steel, stainless steel and aluminium to finishing in glass, wood, plastic or a combination of these. They specialise in the design of public spaces with roofing, canopies, bicycle racks, street furniture, etc. Moreover, the production is entirely in-house, since great importance is attached to quality.

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience. School leavers with a technical master's degree are also considered.
• You are interested in building up knowledge in the products (tailor-made constructions, street furniture, canopies, etc.).
• Do you follow the new trends within the sector closely?
• You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch and can also express yourself fluently in French.
• You are enterprising, independent and results-oriented.
• You think customer-oriented, future-oriented and like to take initiative.
