R&D Engineer

As an R&D engineer, your duties will be as follows:

• You are key person and your job is to support the team with the more technical challenges and ensure a smooth and effortless working process of our unmanned ships and control rooms. They monitor and control our autonomous ships worldwide from our control rooms. Furthermore, you will be part of the R&D team that realises new research projects.
• You will work closely with the Survey and R&D team.
• You develop new features and improve feedback.
• You will be responsible for keeping procedures, manuals and other supporting documents up to date.
• You will investigate and solve problems with a focus on delivering a flawless support experience.
• You will bring new ideas to improve autonomous ships.

As an R&D engineer, you preferably meet the following qualities:

• You have a degree in electrical engineering or electronics or equivalent through experience.
• You have a good written and oral knowledge of English.
• You are a team player with a proactive mindset.
• You have the capacity to work at a high pace in a fast-growing environment.
• You are intelligent and a real problem solver. You take initiative.
• You enjoy learning and want to keep developing yourself
