R&D Engineer

You will be joining a strong company where stability is key. A company with little turnover and where you can make use of flexible hours. Your statutory leave is supplemented with 6 ADV days in a 37.5-hour week. Naturally, you will also receive an attractive remuneration for your work.

- You work on future system solutions. These can be new products but also improvements of already existing articles.

- You do this independently or in a team and report to the R&D manager or Operations manager.

- All aspects of the product are taken into account: cost price, processing speed, ergonomics, production methods, etc.

This company specialises in the manufacture of aluminium systems for joinery. They currently work with around 300 employees. They focus on the B2B market in Flanders and Wallonia. They are also represented in the rest of Europe.

- You are preferably an Industrial Engineer - option Industrial Design or Product Developer. Engineers or candidates with an architect-orientated education with the necessary affinity for product development are also considered.

- If you have a number of years of relevant experience in an R&D department as a 2D and 3D product developer, this is a strong plus but not a must

- You are proud of your creations and feel responsible for further optimisation if necessary

- You are creative, motivated, eager to learn, communicative and not afraid of a challenge

- You are Dutch and have a good command of French and English. Knowledge of German is an advantage

- You have a good knowledge of Autocad. Knowledge of Inventor is an advantage

- You have sufficient affinity with strength calculations
