Quality Lead

As quality lead, your duties will be as follows:

• You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, evaluating and adjusting procedures and processes in support of the quality management system;
• You will be responsible for reporting, analysing and following up internal rejected products and external complaints;
• You carry out corrective and preventive actions regarding products and process improvement;
• You will be responsible for conducting and following up on internal audits, attending and following up on external audits;
• You do customer support and follow-up in all quality-related matters;
• You will provide support to our purchasing department in coordinating quality requirements with suppliers, supplier complaints and auditing suppliers;
• You take the lead in organising the day-to-day operations in - and managing the quality department team;
• You detect training needs in the organisation (with regard to quality) and in your team (with regard to your employees' general development), provide the necessary quality-related training courses and regularly participate in the necessary training courses or seminars to keep your knowledge up to date;
• You report periodically to the overall Quality Manager on quality issues and are in daily contact with the various internal departments, customers and suppliers on these issues;

As a quality lead, you preferably meet:

• You have a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering Chemistry/Electromechanics or equivalent through experience;
• You are a real people coach and initial experience of managing a team in doing so is desirable;
• You already have a basic knowledge of injection moulding, and in particular quality management systems;
• Working experience as an auditor or auditee is desirable;
• You already have experience with quality tools such as Lean, Six sigma as well as project management;
• You have knowledge of the ISO standards ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 / GMP standard
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English;
• You are flexible to travel sporadically if required;
• You like to work hands- on, are analytical and well organised;
• You are a good communicator and like a customer-oriented, solution-oriented approach.
