Project Manager Finishing

As finishing project manager, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will take on the daily coordination and follow-up of multiple construction projects.
• You will organise, coordinate and control work on the construction sites.
• You will be the first point of contact for the customer and keep them informed of ongoing issues.
• You are responsible for planning, site and work preparation, material management and maintaining the site administration. In addition, you also prepare the order statements so that accounting can do the invoicing.
• You will manage both in-house workers and subcontractors.
• The sites are mainly located in East Flanders, Flemish Brabant and Brussels region.

As a finishing project manager, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in construction or are equivalent through your experience.
• You have an affinity in the construction sector, ideally you already have several years' experience in a similar position.
• You have strong communication skills so you can smoothly manage employees as well as speak to customers.
• You have good organisational skills to manage the works and plan.
• You have an eye for quality and enjoy taking responsibility.
• You are a real problem solver, you think in solutions.
• You speak good Dutch and French to manage employees, as well as in customer contact. Knowledge of English is a plus.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
• You work results-oriented and are flexible to manage different sites.
• You attach great importance to order and safety on construction sites.

Our client is a young company that is part of a larger group and specialises in plastering, gyproc works and false ceilings. Their hobbyhorses are their impeccable workmanship and customer satisfaction. They work mainly B2B and for government contracts (tenders). They mainly operate in the East Flanders, Flemish Brabant and Brussels region. To strengthen their team, they are currently looking for a project manager finishing.

As finishing project manager, you will join a small team of about 20 in-house employees. There is a familiar and pleasant atmosphere where everyone wants to move forward and contribute to further growth. Their core values are respect, quality and customer orientation. You will be able to work with great colleagues, but in your role as project leader, you will be given enough freedom to work independently. Furthermore, you can count on a full-time position with an open-ended contract. You will work in a 40-hour week with 12 ADV days and be willing to take construction leave.
