Soil Survey Project Leader

As project leader you will:

• Coordinating and reporting on research assignments. You will be in direct contact with the client from offer phase to after-sales service.
• Providing the technical solution for the customer, this will mainly be determining the 'sampling strategy'.
• Liaise with the lab for the anlysis to be carried out and organise the fieldwork.
• Possibly also prepare a risk assessment.

This position is the perfect combination of desk and field work.

Our client is active within several facets of soil and environmental research. They include a few companies where they can specifically do everything in-house (archaeology, asbestos analysis, geotechnics, sewer inspections, etc.). They have international customers but still operate entirely in Ghent with their own laboratory, warehouse, office space and research centre. Today, they already have 150 employees but they are looking for reinforcement.

What do we expect from you besides some flexibility and motivation?

A bachelor's or master's degree in science. Which direction or which experience? It does not matter, as long as you have an interest in environment and soil.
