For this vacancy in Antwerp, we are looking for a project leader with a lot of experience.

What does your day as a project leader look like?

• You draw up the planning for your projects: term planning before the start of the work, detailed planning, daily control of compliance with the planning and you take action in the event of delays.
• You guard the budget of the projects: guarding the site budget & monthly budget control, timely preparation and approval of the client's progress reports, control/approval of progress reports and invoicing, control of the output of own workers.
• You are responsible for the orders and purchases and this in close cooperation/communication with the project planner: drawing up an order list at the start, studying price comparisons and discussing the conclusion with the project planner, drawing up contracts, reporting e.g. social security (via the secretariat.
• You are responsible for the complete organisation of your construction site: organising the site and monitoring the activities of the site manager, the image of the site (order, tidiness, site signs, etc.), monitoring the quality of the work carried out, drawing up a site layout plan, following up site meetings and actions, maintaining external relations with other parties, such as the supervisors, the construction team, the municipality and neighbours, drawing up and maintaining the site file, drawing up, coordinating and monitoring the PID and AB file.

Our client is a family-run construction company located in Antwerp. They are specialised in building services of the highest quality. They have years of experience in the commercial and residential sector. New construction projects, renovations and alterations are their profession.

For this vacancy we are looking for a project leader with experience in new building/construction.

Furthermore, you meet the following expectations for this position:

• You have a professional Bachelor's degree or academic Master's degree in Construction Engineering, or equivalent through experience
• You can express yourself fluently, orally and in writing, in Dutch, English and French.
• You have the necessary commercial skills; negotiating with a customer, architect, subcontractors and suppliers does not scare you.
• You have strong organisational skills.
• You have a good knowledge of building processes and construction methods.
• You are strong in numbers.
• You are a real team player.
• You have a driving licence.
