Project engineer Stability
Function
You will be responsible for the follow-up and execution of diverse projects with a focus on stability of existing concrete structures. During a familiarisation period, you will be introduced to the specific aspects of concrete damage and trained by an experienced Project Team. In this, you will be able to independently take the "lead" in a project involving the following phases;
- Drafting plan of action: mapping the client's concrete problems and needs, developing a suitable research programme and drafting a quotation.
- Coordination and execution of the project: drawing up a schedule, carrying out on-site measurements, coordinating technical staff and following up on lab tests.
- Processing research results: collection and processing of results obtained from on-site measurements and lab tests, feedback of results to on-site observations.
- Reporting: targeted interpretation of your findings, formatting of a report and communication with the project team and client.
Profile
- You have a master's degree in structural engineering
- Working experience related to stability of concrete structures is nice to have, but not an absolute must.
- You have a strong affinity with concrete, stability, renovation and repairs of concrete structures.
- You can work fluently with programmes's such as Buildsoft, AutoCad, . . . .
- You are organisationally strong, flexible and able to work independently.
