For the vacancy of project engineer within the Industry unit, you will work from their office or from the site office and this is a sample of your duties:

• Contributing to the calculation, project preparation, monitoring the execution of the construction sites, helping to supervise the delivery and financial settlement of the assigned project;
• Thinking along about the phasing and execution method of the project;
• Using drawings and documents, you determine the quantities of materials needed to carry out the works;
• Co-managing the execution team, following up the execution of the works;
• You keep both the project team and the client informed of the progress and financial settlement of the project.

Our client is fully engaged in energy transition projects. They connect cables, pipelines and, above all, people.

As a contractor, they operate in many fields both in the public domain and with private parties. Their activities are divided into 4 different business units, namely: Distribution, Electromechanical, Infra and Industry.

Within the Industry business unit, they are active as contractors in the installation of cables, piping, piping, electromechanical installations, sign building, cabling (above and below ground) and this both within new construction and renovation projects on industrial sites.

To strengthen their division they are looking for a Project engineer.

For the job of project engineer, you will be introduced to all phases of the construction process and recognise yourself in the following description:

• A bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience;
• Experience within electromechanical work is a plus and you have knowledge of the usual PC applications;
• Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of French and Dutch is a plus;
• You are organisationally strong, flexible and bring out the best in your team through your enthusiasm;
• As a project engineer, you are solution-oriented, flexible and can set the right priorities;
• You are analytical and work accurately;
• You put people first and communicate openly.
