Function

As a Project Engineer Energy, you will be responsible for sizing and designing HVAC and power systems. You will work closely with clients and internal colleagues to elaborate complex technical schemes and ensure that projects are executed efficiently and successfully. You will be involved from the initial phase through to implementation and provide technical support throughout the process.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Dimensioning: Responsible for the complete dimensioning of heating systems and energy solutions.
  • Design: Preparation of principle diagrams and technical drawings in AutoCAD; review and optimise plans and technical specifications.
  • Calculations: Perform price dimensioning and calculations to optimise costs; suggest improvements where possible.
  • Implementation: Closely involved in project implementation, including consultation with subcontractors and assistance during the implementation phase.
  • Collaboration: Early engagement with clients, often as early as two years before actual implementation, to ensure that all requirements and expectations are aligned


Profile

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical field such as electromechanics, energy, air conditioning (or similar) or equivalent through experience. 
  • Experience in a similar role within the energy or HVAC sector is an advantage.
  • Expertise in dimensioning, HVAC systems and energy processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and able to develop principle diagrams and technical drawings. Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
  • Proactive attitude and accurate in tracking schedules and costs.

This is mainly about renewable energy solutions. 

The company is easily accessible due to its location close to an exit of the E313 motorway.
