Project engineer
Function
As a Senior Engineer, you will independently participate in more complex monodisciplinary and/or multidisciplinary projects for high-profile clients within the food industry.
You:
- checks the order for accuracy, completeness and safety
- checks and completes third-party designs
- designs and models (3D) more complex installations
- Produces and reviews engineering documents such as schedules, technical drawings,
- reports and tender documents
- prepares and/or reviews technical drawings and sketch plans in all project phases
- monitors and/or supports construction and installation
- monitors and/or supports commissioning (CSU)
As a Senior Engineer, you allocate your own time based on information on priorities. You monitor the quality of your own work to ensure that the services/products delivered comply with all relevant (internal and external) guidelines and procedures. From your expertise, you provide contributions and advice to help others make decisions and/or successfully complete their tasks.
In this role, you can also share your relevant knowledge as a supervisor of more junior engineers.

Furthermore, you have
- successfully completed a master's degree in a technical field (electromechanics, process engineering, (bio)chemistry,...)
- knowledge and experience of preparing specifications and calculations
- knowledge and experience of setting up drawings and preparing PFDs and P&IDs
- experience with pumps, valves, fittings, instrumentation, piping and unit operations
- experience in the food industry or related sector
You speak and write fluently in Dutch. In addition, you have sufficient knowledge of English.
