Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you are the central point of contact for both the client and the main contractor. You play a key role in communication with study agencies and clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Project preparation and delivery
• Analysis of specifications and architectural plans
• Visiting sites and participating in site meetings as required
• Drawing up schedules and ensuring the right materials are used
• Supporting fellow engineers
• Accurate management of project administration
• Drawing up and monitoring project budgets
• Staying up to date with the latest standards and developments in bridge construction
• Actively contribute to the development of new techniques

Our client is looking for a driven candidate who meets the following profile characteristics:

• Master's degree in civil or industrial engineering. Candidates with a Bachelor of Architecture and relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Experience in bridge joints is unlikely but experience in a relevant sector will certainly serve as a good foundation.
• Starting with support from colleagues's and gradually being assigned own projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Calm and stress-resistant, with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Responsibility.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and French, English and/or German is a plus.

Our client, a company in the Special Engineering Department looking for a Project Engineer/Project Engineer. This department deals with the design and installation of bridge joints, bearings, vibration dampers and jacking techniques.
