Project Engineer

You will be working in a dynamic company where you can count on a good work-life balance. As project engineer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Together with the sales team, you develop concepts to solve the problem that a customer has.
• Once the project has been sold, you work everything out from A to Z.
• You are responsible for the elaboration of the design on both the mechanical and electrical level.
• Detailed drawings and parts drawings are also made by you or your fellow draughtsman.
• You will also be responsible for the PLC and robot controls.
• You are in close contact with the workshop, which allows you to monitor your project closely
• You ensure that all technical documentation is in order, including the technical manual, CE conformity, electrical schematics,...
• You like to take initiatives on continuous improvement and help develop ideas.
• Furthermore, you also participate in R&D projects.

Our client specialises in customised packaging projects. This ranges from bagging machines, bulk handling to palletising and film machines. It is a dynamic company with the ambition to grow. They are distributor of several brands and also have their own production. Today, they work with about 15 employees. As part of their own production, they are looking for a project engineer to strengthen their engineering department.

As a Project Engineer, you can tick most of the following boxes:

• You have a bachelor or master degree in a technical field such as electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
• You already have a first experience in machine construction or in a related sector.
• You have experience in Inventor, Siemens PLCs, Eplan or similar programs.
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• You are communicative and can communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• You like to take initiative and can work well independently.
• You will work closely with colleagues from sales, engineering and the workshop.
