Project designer/successor HVAC

You will be working in a young and dynamic study bureau that is developing rapidly. At the moment, there are only four enthusiastic employees, which means that you will be working in a family atmosphere with a lot of enthusiasm.

You may expect a remuneration in line with the market supplemented with hospitalisation insurance. Depending on the job content, you will also receive a company car, mobile phone, laptop and meal vouchers.

Moreover, you will be working in a 40-hour week, which means that you can count on 12 ADV days. There are 2 weeks of construction leave in the summer and 1 week between Christmas and New Year. The rest can be filled in freely.

As project designer/supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• The development of various dossiers concerning techniques (HVAC, sanitary and electricity) in a building (school buildings, office buildings, social housing,...) both new buildings and renovations.
• You are not afraid of measuring buildings, checking the work carried out or following up a site.
• You participate in the consultation meetings with the architect and the client, you help to come up with the concepts, you calculate the necessary techniques, you help to work out the plans, you draw up the specifications and measurements and you help to follow up a part of the execution of the works.
• Most of the time you will be in the office working on the files, and some of it will be on the road for measurements and design meetings.
• You will mainly work in Autocad 2D. In addition, they are in the process of making the transition to REVIT BIM.

Our client is a small family office active in special techniques (HVAC and electricity). They work mainly for the public sector in the whole of Flanders. Their focus is mainly on the region of Antwerp, Brussels and East Flanders.

As a project designer/successor you can tick off the following items:

• Thorough knowledge through training and/or experience in HVAC. Knowledge of plumbing and electricity is a plus.
• Being able to work on files independently.
• Knowledge and experience of Autocad 2D (LF or Full) is a must, working with BIM software such as REVIT is a plus.
• Taking initiative and being able to work independently.
• You are eager to learn and have strong communication skills.
• Already in possession of a driving licence B is a plus.
