Project coordinator Techniques

As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will be the contact person and point of contact for internal services for both new construction and renovation works.
• You manage the external parties (study agencies, contractors, suppliers, etc.).
• You translate the programme of requirements of direct and indirect users into a design brief.
• You will supervise and coordinate the project from preliminary design to final delivery both technically and structurally.
• For smaller projects, you design the plans and prepare specifications and measurement statements.
• You yourself are heavily involved technically in the projects.
• You will be responsible for planning and budget during the various phases of the project and report on project progress and bottlenecks.
• Your specialisation will mainly focus on electrical engineering projects.

As a Project Coordinator, you can largely tick off the items below:

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree within electromechanics, energy technology, electrical engineering, air conditioning or equivalent through experience.
• You have a fluent knowledge of general PC usage. Knowledge of Autocad is a plus.
• You have a broad interest in technical fields such as construction, electricity, HVAC, plumbing installations,...
• You are strong in coordinating projects, possess great organisational skills and have an analytical mindset.
• Experience in project work is a plus.
• You take initiative, think innovatively and set thoughtful priorities.
• You are stress-resistant and can work well under time pressure, under varying and unforeseeable circumstances and in different locations.
• You are a strong team player, but can also work independently.
• You work extremely conscientiously and efficiently.

Our client is a well-known hospital in the Aalst region. They are currently looking for a techniques project leader to strengthen the construction and project team.

As techniques project leader, you will join the hospital's construction and project team. You will join a 5-member team, each with his/her specialisation.

You will have an open-ended contract in full-time employment with possibility of 4/5th employment. Furthermore, you can count on a nice salary package according to the official IFIC 17 barema's.
