Project architect

One good turn deserves another. For this position, you will receive the following offer

• As an independent architect, your starting salary will be around €28/hour
• If you are employed, your salary will be discussed on the basis of your experience

• Flexible hours: you can work 3/5, 4/5 or 5/5/.
• There are sliding hours

• In general, construction leave is followed

As a project architect, your responsibilities will include the following:

• You choose your own projects that you have to complete from a-z, large projects are completed in teams
• Of course you make all your own calculations
• All plans are drawn by you 
• Regular site visits to see if everything is going according to plan

For our client located in the centre of Leuven, we are looking for a project architect. It is a very young architectural office; three years ago they started an architectural office with some friends. The office has grown enormously, which is why they are looking for a new colleague. They focus mainly on residential construction; both renovation and new construction. The partners select projects based on how nice they are to work on as a group. 

The atmosphere here is also good: every Friday they have an aperitif in the Hoorn and they regularly have lunch together near their office. The office has a car park and is perfectly accessible by public transport: Leuven Station is a 15-minute walk away. 

For this position you should have the following:

• A master's degree in architecture or ir-architecture
• Your internship is complete
• A first work experience is welcome, but not a must 
• Experience with the AutoCAD packages is a must
• Knowledge of BIM is a plus, not a must 
• A driving licence B is a plus
• Communicative and independent: you have to visit the site regularly and follow up on everything 
• Thorough knowledge of Dutch and English is a must; French is not a requirement but a plus
