Function
As a production engineer machining you are responsible for a.o:
- determine the optimal finishing method on our renewed machine park
- support the design of the mould in NX
- generate the CNC programme via CADCAM
- create the necessary instructions and documents for the operators
- provide the necessary training and support to operators
- optimising existing finishing methods in order to increase quality and reduce costs
- You keep all necessary production data up-to-date via the ERP system, especially when engineering changes or new parts appear.
- You help lead or support investment projects as part of a team.

Profile
As a Production Engineer Machining, you preferably meet the following requirements:
- you have an engineering degree (or equivalent through experience) and preferably already have a thorough knowledge within a production environment (experience with CNC machines)
- You are prepared to learn the necessary programming software (Siemens 840D) and drawing software (NX)
- you have a logical insight to tackle problems
- you like to take responsibility, you like to contribute creatively to a good organisation and you have good communication skills
- you are interested in keeping up to date with the latest developments in cutting tools and other technologies (e.g. hydraulics) and are willing to follow a course in labour analysis
