As a production engineer you are responsible for:

• You are the link between designers, production managers and production workers
• You are co-responsible for the smooth running of all processes on the shop floor and the optimisation of the production and warehouse
• In addition to your work on the shop floor, you will also compile the necessary reports and make adjustments to instructions
• You participate in meetings and process everything in an ERP system
• You are co-responsible for designing test fixtures, assembly fixtures, quality fixtures. This is both on a mechanical and an electrical level
• You report to the operations manager

This company is located in the Ostend region and is a renowned machine builder within cutting solutions. The cutting equipment is mainly used in the graphic, signage, display, clothing and packaging industries.

As a production engineer, you preferably meet the following requirements:

• You have a technical background in electro-mechanics or electronics/electricity
• You are a bachelor or master or similar through experience
• You enjoy working with others and can motivate others to achieve your goals
• You work in a solution-oriented way
• You are accurate in administration
