As Production Manager/Team Leader, you work closely with the Quality Manager, Purchaser and Sales Department.

Some of your tasks will be as follows:

• Coordinating the processes in function of the production planning.
• Checking raw materials, as well as incoming and outgoing products for orders, in close cooperation with the buyer and sales department.
• Maintaining production and follow-up documents and adjusting production.
• Follow up and adjust the production planning to the flows, deadlines, stock,...
• Raising staff awareness of orderliness, quality and safety in cooperation with the quality manager.

For our client in the Lummen region, we are currently looking for a Production Manager/Team Leader to replace someone who is retiring.

Our client is a leading provider of customised lighting solutions, operating internationally. The family business has more than 39 years of experience in the development and production of indoor and outdoor lighting. Innovation, convincing product quality and high-quality designs are central to this.

For this position, we are looking for the following profile:

• You have had technical training or have a certain feeling for lighting.
• You have had your first managerial experience in a production environment.
• You have the insight to see through a complete production chain (sawing, milling, painting, assembly, testing).
• You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves in production if necessary.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch.
• You are a real people manager.
