As prevention adviser, you are the driving force behind the safety culture and welfare policy. You see to it that all external rules and legal requirements concerning health and safety and the environment are respected and you are responsible for the further development and implementation of the safety policy. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment where the employee is central. - You will build a strong network within the organisation in no time and form a tandem with the production manager, colleagues from QA/QC, R&D, marketing and sustainability.

- In your role, you are both internally and externally the sounding board for all Safety, Health & Environment-related issues. In doing so, you communicate constructively with the shop floor and trade unions.

- You switch effortlessly between your role as a strategic partner and your hands-on presence on the floor.

- You are an expert in your field, legislation and regulations hold no secrets for you. You keep track of changes and convert them into practical advice.

- You draw up an overall annual action plan and put it into practice.

- You will organise and support external audits related to safety and environment. This includes Smeta, ISO 14001:2015 and Ecovadis.

- You are responsible for preparing risk analyses and SDS sheets belonging to raw materials, additives and polishes.

- You will be responsible for the administrative handling of customer requests. This includes packaging institutions such as Green Dot, Fost Plus, Ecoveritas, ...

- You will provide general training regarding the legislative component to production, warehouse storage and chemical risk analysis.

- You are pragmatic, think in solutions and do so with a strong planning approach.

- You demonstrate creativity and innovation and proactively develop improvement proposals
