Function

We are looking for an office manager for our client for their payroll department in the Geel area. As an office manager, you will have two major roles to fulfil:

First, you are a people manager:

  • You manage a team of client advisers payroll and team coordinators. Smooth office operation is your main goal here: you ensure smooth, efficient and clear personnel planning and communication.
  • If challenges come your way, you support the employees in word and deed. This way, you help ensure excellent service with an eye for meeting deadlines and efficiency.
  • You ensure that each individual feels good in the workplace. You organise evaluation interviews and growth interviews. You investigate what your colleagues need most in terms of training and coaching and plan these moments steadfastly.
  • You use your analytical and numerical talent to prepare the necessary office reports for management. These reports help you preserve the profitability and improve the results of your own office. You also dare to question and improve the functioning of the office. You are therefore ultimately responsible for the figures.
  • At the very busy times or unexpected downtime of a colleague, you also jump in where needed.

Second, you are also a commercial ambassador:

  • With your commercial flair, you ensure the further expansion of your client portfolio. You attend networking events to be the ambassador for your employer and office.
  • Customer visits are daily business for you where relationship management, retention and customer satisfaction are your biggest objectives.
