Network Engineer

In the Network Engineer role, your mission is to use your analytical and technical skills to identify and understand the customer's specific needs. You will then develop a tailor-made solution that provides the customer with a high-performance and secure network.

Customer contact and hands-on implementations are an important part of your daily work.

• Trouble shooting the existing network
• Designing and implementing the network infrastructure tailored to the customer's needs
• Installing, upgrading and stabilising WAN and LAN networks
• Installing and migrating firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, ...
• You always test the installations in the testing lab before implementing the solution
• You help the NOC engineers with the overflow of 2nd and 3rd line service requests and incidents
• Documenting and improving security policies
• Checking and updating security measures

Our client provides IT solutions for medium and large enterprises. They are responsible for the security of the infrastructure and software applications.

What are the requirements to be considered for the vacancy of Network Engineer:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT with specialisation in Networking or Security;
• Good problem-solving, organisational and listening skills;
• Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team;
• Being communicative and loving customer contact;
• Fluent in Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus.
