Function
- You are part of the R&D Team
- You go on customer visits as a technical expert
- You communicate with validation agencies and external experts
- You design mechanical structures for the placement of solar panels on various substrates
- You are the contact person for engineers and project managers in case of questions about the structures
- You validate strength studies carried out by external engineers
- You are responsible for the development of both new products and the optimisation of existing ones.
Organisation
The company develops and installs solar panel systems for industrial, agricultural and public companies throughout Belgium. International projects also belong to their portfolio. The customer is guided through the entire process from quotation to completion of the installation.
Profile
As a structural engineer, you preferably meet the following profile:
- Preferably a civil engineer in mechanical engineering, structural design, ...
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Solid works/vector works and/or robot structural analysis
- Strong written and oral skills in Dutch, French and English
- Driving Licence B
