As mechanical designer you are responsible for the mechanical design, assembly and installation of our innovative machines for parquet production. You take care of both the mechanical design and the follow-up of the project from A to Z. This gives you the opportunity to build innovative machines for a global market leader together with your 10 colleagues engineers & mechanics.

>> Your most important tasks as Mechanical Designer:

• Brainstorm with your colleagues to shape the concept of the machine.
• The autonomous development of systems where you can always reflect on your colleagues.
• During the entire design process, safety, manufacturability and cost are key.
• Briefing the mechanics during assembly until the machine comes to life.

The company develops and builds machines for the production of wooden floorboards. As a specialist in the niche market, they can respond very quickly to the needs and trends of the market.

This results in highly technological machines and automation solutions for the different stages of wood floor production. 

They always have tailor-made solutions.

• You have a master or bachelor degree in electromechanics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering.
• In the meantime, you built up at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Thanks to your innovative mindset, you will contribute to our ambition to realise new developments and keep our customers satisfied.
• We design in Inventor. Experience with design in this package, Solidworks or another 3D design package is necessary.
• In order to follow up on your projects and cooperate with suppliers and customers, you are eager to learn and work in a structured manner.
• Not everything goes smoothly. You know how to persevere in the face of setbacks and prefer to think in terms of solutions rather than problems.
• You communicate fluently and pleasantly, but you can also listen well and then analyse the information.
