Function

As a Machine Maintenance Engineer, you ensure the flawless operation of a part of the modern machine park within the production of our client. You perform technical analyses of defects, work closely with the technical department and implement and/or optimise our installations.

Some of the tasks:

- As a Machine Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for maintenance-related projects linked to retrofits and optimisations of current installations.

- You are part of the professional maintenance pillar (PM) and help to draw up the maintenance plan. In doing so, you will always look for opportunities to make this more effective and cost efficient. Reducing machine downtime, making technical analyses of faults and defects and expanding preventive maintenance activities are key in this regard. With your actions, you increase the output and reliability of the entire installation.

- You follow the evolutions and trends within your field of expertise and are closely involved in the introduction of new technologies. You introduce and follow up the implementation of new projects, including the expansion of Industry 4.0 applications within CNH Industrial in Zedelgem.

- As a Machine Maintenance Engineer, you are the technical sounding board between technicians and engineers. In a team context, you optimise the efficiency, technical availability and energy consumption of existing and new installations. You monitor the daily operations and assist technicians with complex machine problems.
