Logistics Team Leader shifts Evergem

Who we are looking for: * You preferably have a professional bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience. * You have experience in a managerial position. * Experience/knowledge of logistical processes is not a luxury. * You speak and write the Dutch language perfectly. * You work in 2 shifts. * You work alternating Saturdays.

As a logistics manager, you have the opportunity to help put your shoulders to the very first NLI (New Logistics Infrastructure) in Belgium! At this brand-new parcel sorting centre in Evergem, people work 24/6 to ensure that customers receive their parcels on time. As this is an (almost) fully automated depot with a large processing capacity, we are looking for an experienced process manager who, together with colleagues, will manage the daily sorting and distribution of parcels. You will manage the process independently and monitor the daily execution within the set frameworks for quality and costs. You also ensure structural improvements in the sorting and distribution process. Your responsibilities: - Supervise the optimal execution of the sorting and distribution activities. - Thinking about and identifying possible improvements in certain processes. - Directing and correcting the behaviour, appearance and work of employees. - Working closely with other process managers. - Daring to make independent decisions in case of process failures. - Taking care of daily coordination with interim agencies regarding the scheduling of interim staff. - Carrying out safety regulations, house and conduct rules. - Ensuring a pleasant working environment.
