What exactly will you be responsible for as a Jurist within this notary's office?

As a Jurist within this firm, the idea is for you to specialise within one of the branches of law within the notarial practice. For example, you can choose to work in family law or corporate law. The idea is that you, as a lawyer, will become one of the specialists within the firm. In this way, notaries want to be surrounded by real experts in their field. Within one particular branch of law, further specialisation is even possible if you wish. It is therefore certainly not the intention to become an all-round lawyer in this notarial practice.

Furthermore, after a possible familiarisation period, you will be independently responsible for managing a whole number of files related to your branch of law.

For one of the larger notary offices in our region, we are currently looking for additional jusrists to join their team.

This notary's office is characterised by its flat corporate structure and the family atmosphere among themselves. They currently have two offices in Turnhout and Ravels. There are currently 3 notaries active within this office but in the short term this will normally be expanded to 4 or 5 notaries. The office itself is also thinking of the future and is still focused on further growth and expansion of activities within the provincial borders.

For this position of Jurist in the Turnhout area, we are looking for the following profile:

• You hold a Master's degree in Law
• Do you have a first experience within Legal? If so, this is certainly a nice bonus but this is certainly not an absolute must!
• You have a healthy interest in getting started within a notarial practice
• You choose to work within a notarial practice where you can develop yourself as a true specialist within one of the branches of law
• You don't choose a 'classic' notary's office
• You speak the Dutch language at a professional level, knowledge of another language is always a plus
• You are driven to help build the firm's future and further growth plans
• When it is really necessary, you are prepared to be flexible when, for example, a deadline has to be met for changing legislation
• You are punctual and precise
• You are a real team player and will therefore support colleagues where necessary
