As junior site manager, you will be in charge of the complete organisation and realisation of the construction projects. Here are some of your responsibilities:

- You will study plans, specifications, budget and time schedule in order to transform them into concrete implementation methods and a watertight implementation plan.

- You will take the entire organisation of the site under your wing, in other words, you will provide the necessary materials, workers, equipment, subcontractors,...

- With your leadership skills, you can coordinate an entire team of foremen, workers and any subcontractors

- Safety, quality and environmental standards are extremely important, and you will help to ensure this on a daily basis

- You are in close contact with the Project Manager and the Project Director 


Of course, you are not alone in this. Your colleagues, site managers and site team will support you throughout the process.

Our client is a major player in civil engineering and industry. The HQ is located in the heart of Antwerp and currently employs 200 people. Although they have grown strongly in recent times, they still maintain a flat corporate culture with a view to further growth. Is the heart of Antwerp easy to reach? Yes, by car, bicycle and public transport, you can easily reach their head office.

- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Engineering and/or can fall back on a first experience as a site manager 

- Communication is no problem for you: besides knowing the Dutch language, you can also manage in English and French. 

- You don't have to think about working with MsOffice programmes, you have even heard of MsProjects. 

- Since the organisation of such a large project can be challenging, you have enough courage and autonomy 

- Managing a team requires skills, but you know how to steer it in the right direction and strive for the best results together with your team.

- You can move smoothly between the sites you are responsible for
