• As an internal bookkeeper, you work closely with the management and are responsible for the registration of the purchasing and sales transactions as well as the financial operations of our company;
• As an internal bookkeeper, you are familiar with the VAT regulations and can prepare and submit VAT returns;
• As an internal bookkeeper, you help the management with the preparation of the half-yearly and annual reporting of the financial figures.

The office is located in Lievegem at a short distance from Ghent in a rural and quiet environment. Expansion opportunities are on the agenda with the recent purchase of two plots of land also located in Lievegem on the N9 national road (Ghent-Eeklo), where a new contemporary building will house the head office in the near future. In short, an ideal location with easy accessibility and good parking facilities.

• You have a degree in accounting, a graduate degree in accounting or equivalent experience;
• You can work independently and are also a team player;
• You are meticulous, punctual, critical, dedicated and like taking responsibility;
• You think proactively with the management in registering, following up and handling documents;
• You are discreet and have integrity.
