Our client is a well-known international player when it comes to high-quality and sustainable technologies within the pharmaceutical and food industries. Some 20 000 employees work on this day and night, spread worldwide in some 60 countries.
There are five divisions:
- Heating & Refrigeration
- Separation & Flow
Within each of these divisions, customised technologies are manufactured, installed and maintained. These applications can be found in very many different industries and sectors. In Belgium, the focus is mainly on the Pharmaceuticals, Liquid and Farm divisions. There is also an extensive service department that ensures that a large number of Belgian companies can stay 'up and running'. Within their customer portfolio there are some big names.
The international character and the different divisions mean that there are a lot of opportunities for training and growth within this company. However, this should certainly not put you off as a candidate. At the various sites, there really is a vibe similar to that of medium-sized SMEs. There are short communication lines, room for participation and creativity. You don't become a number within this organisation. There are close-knit teams who jump into the breach for each other if necessary; the various team members complement each other perfectly...
As an international service engineer, it is important that you have a thorough knowledge of mechanics, electricity, automation and all accessories. This through experience or a relevant education (e.g. Bachelor of Electromechanics).

You are fluent in English supplemented by a good basic Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is definitely an asset.
Finally, you have no problems working independently, have responsibility and are stress-resistant. You remain calm, composed and professional even if there is chaos at the customer's premises (e.g. in case of a major breakdown).

We will get back to you as soon as possible.
