As an International Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing and commissioning of complete process plants to a safe and high standard. In this role, you will act as the essential link between the customer and the internal organisation. Besides commissioning new installations, you will also be responsible for technical support of delivered installations, both remotely and on-site.


This company is active in designing, building and installing process plants and material handling solutions in the chemical and food sectors worldwide. Their projects can have a lead time of 1 to 2 years and can amount to up to EUR 20 million. Furthermore, this company is part of a large international group. Nevertheless, within the company there is a friendly atmosphere where you know your colleagues and there is room for your personal development. The head office is located in Kapellen in the north of Antwerp. They also have branches in Thailand & America.


Your profile as an International Commissioning Engineer:

  • You obtained a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of motors, frequency converters (Allen Bradley, Danfoss, SIEMENS) and pneumatics is present, as well as a basic knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell & Siemens).
  • You are willing to travel, usually working 3 weeks on site, 1 week back in Belgium. 
  • You are fluent in English & Dutch.
