Head of Calculation and Work Preparation

As Head of Work Preparation and Calculation, you will have broad responsibilities. Briefly summarised below; 

• Develop uniform working methods and synergy between different construction projects, from private to larger projects.
• Identify cost-effective and safe solutions for the construction process.
• Advising project developers.
• Managing a team of 6 employees, including 4 calculators, 1 work planner and 1 modeller.
• Ensure overall planning in collaboration with the team and other internal departments such as procurement and execution.
• Monitoring progress of files.
• Analysing incoming files.
• Manage returns and post-calculations, reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Reporting to the General Director of Housing.

You are an Industrial or Civil Engineer in Construction or Architecture. 

You have a minimum of 10 years' experience, ideally in industrial construction. 

You already have initial experience in a managerial role. 

You have keen analytical skills and know how to maintain an overview effortlessly.

You enjoy growing and supporting a team.

You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English. 

You will join a stable company with more than 40 years of experience.
