Function
As a hands-on maintenance engineer you are responsible for the following tasks:
-The daily maintenance and technical support of the varied and automated machine park.
-Solving malfunctions and breakdowns in a well-considered, fast and efficient manner.
-Executing preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
-Gathering technical information about our installations, sharing knowledge with your team and providing improvement proposals.
-Active participation in projects arising from the multi-annual plan.
-In team maintenance of electrical schematics - electronic plans - Scada (with e-plan - autocad - Intouch/Pc-Vue, among others)
-Executing work orders from A to Z with special attention to safety, respect, responsibility and order and cleanliness.
-Every three weeks you will be put on a standby shift, for which you will be paid extra.
Organisation
Our client is an SME active in the technical textile sector with a total of 350 employees spread over several European locations. For the site in Zele where they work with about 100 people, they are looking for a hands-on maintenance engineer to strengthen the maintenance department.
Profile
In this position, you will preferably be able to tick off the following items:
-You preferably have a technical bachelor degree ( electromechanics, maintenance techniques, ...) or equivalent through experience.
-You are also fascinated by automation (PLC, SCADA) and enjoy troubleshooting.
-You are a real team player and a doer, but you can also work independently.
-You are eager to learn and to share your knowledge and ideas in order to find better solutions.
-You have a strong safety awareness and sense of quality, order and cleanliness.
-Experience with maintenance programmes is a plus (Ultimo).
