GL Accountant

As a GL Accountant, you will have the following range of duties:

• Preparing monthly and annual closures for Belgian and Dutch companies in cooperation with team AP/AR, tax and external parties;
• Tax returns and reporting by entity;
• Preparation of monthly and annual reports (CBS and DNB);
• You focus on process and efficiency improvement;
• You will ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX and local legal regulations;
• Financial analysis and management support.

For their Finance team in Groot-Bijgaarden, they are looking for a colleague, GL Accountant.

As a GL Accountant, you are/have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an economic/accountancy field;
• Minimum first relevant experience;
• Knowledge of tax reporting;
• Communicative and collegial;
• Knowledge of USGAAP and SOX is a big plus;
• Analytical and problem-solving reasoning skills;
• Planned and proactive;
• Knowledge of SAP is a big plus;
• Willing to go to the katoor in the Netherlands once a month;
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English (both oral and written).
