Functional/Business Analyst

Your function as Business/Functional Analyst is fourfold:

Business Process Analysis, Functional Design, PM & Communication and Consultation. Some of your tasks:

• Gathering all necessary information by contacting the various departments
• Analysing and outlining the business processes and rules and then formulating all the requirements and expectations that the solution must fulfil
• Afterwards you document and present the results for validation

But, it doesn't stop there:

• You will think about how a solution can be offered within the existing IT architecture and will draw up a complete plan (in cooperation with Development)
• You are responsible for the analysis of the business needs on the basis of user stories; you will therefore need to know the existing business and IT architecture through and through
• You will document the functional analysis, which serves as a basis for the further development of the solution.
• At all times you will ensure functional consistency with the existing business architecture
• Following up on the progress and monitoring the scope is also your responsibility

Since your duties will also include PM, your day will be further filled with:

• Leading subprojects
• Advising, monitoring and steering of own projects or existing projects
• Planning, coordinating and leading projects in the domain of IT implementation, integrations or (large) development projects

• You preferably have a master's degree or have x number of years of experience
• You already have experience with IT projects as an analyst, PM, etc.
• Thanks to your strong analytical skills, you are able to think abstractly and in a solution-oriented way
• Mapping and analysing the business requirements is something you enjoy
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and you are not afraid to address a group.
• In addition to a strong knowledge of the Dutch language, you also have good command of the English language
