Freight forwarder

As a freight forwarder, we can describe you as follows : - You have a logistics degree or experience as a freight forwarder - You are fascinated by the maritime sector - You are strong in administration and can set priorities - You are fluent in communication are customer-oriented and take initiative - You speak perfect Dutch and English, You are not afraid to speak French. - You have good knowledge of the current MS office programmes

For the position of forwarding agent, you have the following tasks: - You draw up import and export files - You organise customised services for the customer and communicate clearly with the customer - You follow up the goods and the transport - You are the point of contact both inside and outside our organisation - You take care of the invoicing for the services provided - You are in close contact with our customs department and our own warehouses - A basic knowledge of customs formalities is a plus

Our client is a fixture in the container transport business. Every year, 50,000 containers are handled and transported by their team of +/- 45 drivers. Based in the Waasland port, they are easily accessible.
