Function

For the vacancy of first-line service desk employee, you will take on the following challenges:

  • You are the central point of contact for internal employees regarding IT problems with PC hardware and software.
  • You will perform the installation of user accounts, computers, printers, software, ...
  • You are responsible for proper IT onboarding of new staff according to agreed procedures.
  • You provide end-user training and advice for best practices around use of PC, peripherals, Office 365 and related.
  • You will support the operational roll-out of software upgrades and tools.
  • You provide IT support to bank agents and back office regarding the IT aspects of the bank applications (e.g. Citrix logon, MFA, use of eID reader, etc.).
  • You will proactively seek solutions to the most common problems.
  • You have a broad passion for everything IT-related and are motivated to contribute flexibly to the smooth running of IT operations .

Profile

What do you need to be considered for the position of service desk assistant?

  • You trained as an IT support engineer or have experience in a similar role.
  • You are very proactive and "service-minded" to help your colleagues.
  • Moreover, you have a very good command of Dutch, French is a plus.
  • You can deal with situations in which several requests for help are open at the same time and are able to prioritise and communicate well about them.
  • You are eager to learn.
