Financial Controller

As Financial Controller you will play a crucial role within this construction company and be responsible for the financial health of the projects. Your duties will include:

• Preparation and analysis of management reports.
• Cost control of projects and determining cut-off times.
• Align with the team and take a critical role in reviewing results and KPI's.
• Reporting on the order book, cash flow and contributing to quarterly and annual closures.
• Preparing reports for the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate budget processes, forecasts and monthly monitoring.
• Responsible for quarterly closures.

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following competencies:

• Master's degree in a financial field (Commercial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, TEW, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position or experience in audit.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, preferably in the construction or infra sector.
• Excellent communication skills and diplomacy.
• Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented work attitude.
• In-depth knowledge of Excel.
• Professional command of Dutch and fluent knowledge of French.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

For a well-known construction company in the Kontich region, we are currently looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen the team. As Financial Controller, you will be the right hand of the Financial Director and will immerse yourself in all financial figures. You will regularly travel to the various sites so as not to lose touch with them.
