Financial Controller

As Financial Controller You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in an innovative environment, where collaboration and optimisation are key.

You will be management's financial right-hand man and play a key role in monitoring and directing key financial processes. Some of your duties include:

• Analysis and reporting: Monitor and optimise DSO and DPO, both at the corporate level and by department.
• Cash flow management: Establish cash schedules and closely monitor invoicing processes.
• Factoring and credit management: Perform credit checks, set limits, and ensure daily monitoring of factoring advances.
• Analytical reporting: Responsible for budgeting, closures, balance sheet reports and analysing actuals versus budget.
• Process optimisation: Identify areas for improvement and implement more efficient ways of working.
• Audit support: Provide audit support and track sublease billing and cost statements.

You will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with various business units.

We are looking for a Financial Controller who knows how to get down to business and is comfortable in an analytical and dynamic environment.

• Education and experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in a finance discipline (or equivalent through experience) with at least 5 years' experience in a finance role. Experience in treasury management? This is an added advantage.
• Analytical and independent: You are a problem solver with an eye for detail and work autonomously on complex financial issues.
• Communication strong: You feel at home consulting with internal and external parties and translating complex matters into clear insights.
• Technical skills: Excel and ERP software hold no secrets for you, and knowledge of BE GAAP or factoring is a solid plus.
• Flexibility: You will mainly work from Roeselare, with the flexibility to occasionally travel to the Willebroek site.
