As Financial Controller for this vacancy in the Arendonk region, you will work closely with the two other colleagues working within finance. Your duties will include the following tasks:

• You prepare the management reporting, which you maintain and expand in PowerBI.
• You will carry out day-to-day transactions for our UK office. This includes processing purchase and sales invoices and bank statements and you will communicate this to the local accountants.
• You prepare the monthly closing, which you do for headquarters and subsidiaries.
• You are responsible for the daily invoicing and follow-up of open orders, which need to be invoiced. Both project-related and service business.
• You make the consolidation of the group result and balance sheet on a monthly basis, formulating an initial accompanying interpretation.
• You perform ad-hoc analyses and assignments based on requests from management and board.
• You will help think about the optimisation of business processes, especially in the ERP package or via Excel.

To fill this vacancy of Financial Controller in this leading company, we are looking for the following profile:

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in economics and/or finance.
• This foundation from your education, you will have supplemented by an initial relevant work experience. Think of a position within audit, junior controller or broad accounting experience.
• You have a good knowledge of Excel and PowerBI.
• You have a healthy dose of hands-on mentality and draw energy from optimising business processes.
• You can ask critical questions and have strong analytical skills.
• Being able to deal well with a constantly changing and challenging environment is a must-have trait.
• You have good communication skills. You will therefore regularly meet with various parties within the organisation.
• You know how to express yourself professionally in Dutch and English. If you speak a word of German, that would be great!
