We are currently looking for a 'Finance Reporting Analyst' for this company in Antwerp.

As a Finance Reporting Analyst, your duties will include the following:

• You will work closely with the finance manager. Together, you will be responsible for drawing up a transparent financial policy.
• You are responsible for VAT returns.
• You will ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• You will be responsible for financial reporting.
• You will be closely involved in the preparation of financial statements.
• You prepare the closures of 2-3 Belgian companies.
• You will be the point of contact during audits.
• The whole AR and AP thing is not within your remit. This will be taken out of your hands by other colleagues within the organisation.

We are currently looking for a new employee to join the finance team for our client in Antwerp. This international dredging company has its parent company in the Netherlands. So they mainly focus on shipping. As a new employee, you will therefore find yourself in an international environment that is constantly changing.

To fill this role of Finance Reporting Analyst, we are looking for the person who can identify with the following:

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in an accounting or economics field.
• You have been able to complement this training with initial experience in an accounting role. Consider a few years' experience in a Big4 environment or in another company.
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, knowledge of another language is a plus.
• You have experience in VAT returns.
• You are fluent in Excel and ERP systems.
• An interest in the sector is of course a nice plus.
• You are looking for full-time employment.
