• Promote sales of targeted products and services within the assigned region
• Act as factory representative to support existing installations and product returns
• Conduct evaluations of customers' fluid systems to identify areas for improvement, improve plant efficiency and provide potential solutions through formulator reports
• Selecting and recommending products for specific applications to customers
• Providing distributor training and technical support for products and applications
• Develop plans and implement activities to support the distributor's business and marketing plans
• Collaborate with other Field Engineers on technical applications and solutions
• Identifying changing application needs for new products and existing products, providing feedback to appropriate factory personnel on improvements to products or services
• Assist with specific marketing initiatives

At our client, you help deliver value from the bottom of the ocean to space and in countless industrial facilities in between. A Field Engineer provides an extension of our technical services to distributors and their end-users in specific regions of strategic and critical importance. The primary focus is to provide application knowledge and technical support to targeted product and service initiatives, market segments and key customers. In addition, a Field Engineer will develop and deliver fluid handling solutions for specific customer needs and specifications through project support or on-site troubleshooting as part of evaluation and consulting services.

• Higher Electromechanical Education (Graduate/Bachelor/Master) or equivalent through experience
• Basic knowledge of 3D drawing packages (e.g. Solidworks) CAD modelling
• Capable of communication, active listening and problem solving
• Comfort working on multiple projects while maintaining clarity and patience
• Design of fluid systems
• Understanding the severity of leak-tight systems
• Basic knowledge of safety and hazards of pressurised systems
• Detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Practical skills in pipe bending and building fluid systems is a plus
• Customer and internal interactions to obtain clear opportunity requirements
• Working closely together on manufacturing and quotations to meet deadlines and agenda
• Provide regular production support
• Help improve production layout/processes
