Executive Project Manager

As Executive Project Leader, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You are responsible for your assigned projects within the field of sewer cleaning -and inspection from A to Z.
• You will be the first point of contact on site for both customers and employees.
• Together with the other project leaders, you will ensure proper preparation and project planning, including
• continuously monitor the progress of the project.
• You can monitor both quality and quantity and adjust where necessary so that the customer is satisfied.
• You translate the client's requirements into a working budget and project plan.
• You guard the availability of equipment, resources and documents.
• You identify, report and remedy deviations.
• You motivate employees and provide and with necessary work instructions.

Our client belongs to a Dutch group and has become a market leader in cleaning, inspection and renovation of infrastructure works such as sewer inspection and cleaning. They mainly carry out assignments for governments and companies. Uniquely, they manage and maintain their own equipment. They have a total of 350 employees spread over some 14 sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. In their Belgian branch in Lokeren, they have about 45 colleagues and are looking for an Executive Project Leader to manage the projects.

In the Executive Project Manager position, you will largely meet the following description:

• You have a bachelor's working and thinking level and an affinity with engineering (e.g. bachelor's degree in construction, electromechanics,...)
• You have a driving licence B.
• You have commeercial acumen.
• You excel at planning and organising.
• You are a real people manager and know how to keep people motivated.
• You know your way around and are proactive.
• You are a 'hands-on' type rather than an 'ivory tower' type.
• You are eager to learn, given the niche there will be a lot of on-the-job learning.
