EPB REPORTER

To expand our young team, we are looking for an EPB reporter to perform energy performance calculations for both new construction and renovation projects. After consultation with the client, architect, contractors and manufacturers, you calculate and describe the minimum insulation, ventilation and installation requirements of the various projects. During both the design and implementation phases, you are an advisor for the building partners and work proactively to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
This is a 100% indoor position, though you can work from home for 1-2 days after working in.
You will draw an average of about'n 20% in SketchUp and AutoCad, in addition to a lot of miscellaneous administration.

You enjoyed a structural engineering degree (bachelor's, master's or equivalent through experience).
Knowledge of EPB regulations is an advantage but not a must. In-depth EPB training is provided internally.
You can work independently, are motivated and can problem-solve within a team.
You are Dutch-speaking, a mouthful of French is nice.

We are a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy consisting of a team of 38 employees specialising in four core activities: land surveying & expert assessments, safety coordination, EPB reporting and inspections (EPC, sewerage inspections, blower door tests, ventilation reporting and electrical inspections).

The head office is located in the Ypres region and our branch office in Ghent. However, our employees work from home, with locations all over Flanders, so that travel is minimal. Our area of operation thus covers the whole of Flanders, Brussels and also Wallonia.

Land surveying & expert appraisal assignments mainly consist of surveying, subdivision, exchange, construction layouts, site descriptions and estimates. These services are commissioned by private individuals, public authorities, companies, notaries, architects, engineering firms, contractors, banks, real estate agents, lawyers, accountants, auditors, etc. With our 45 years of experience, we have significant expertise in surveying.
