As environment and quality manager, you will have an advisory and monitoring role within the organisation. Your work will mainly consist of working out and monitoring the environmental and quality aspects introduced on sites and in the office. You will also guide the architects and salespeople in working out sustainable building solutions.

Here are some of your duties:

- drawing up quality plans and improvement plans

- conducting and supervising internal and external audits

- analysing and identifying risks within the company

- creating support for the HSEQ policy

- monitoring and implementation of environmental standards and legislation

- advising the management team on sustainability and the environment

Our client, located in Hoogstraten; is a construction firm specialising in industrial construction. Besides the quality of the work delivered, respect for budget and timing are essential. Their engineering team deals with hot items such as sustainability, zero CO2, eco-efficiency, life-cycle costing, etc. on a daily basis. Thanks to more than 100 employees and the high-quality execution of work, they continue to grow as a company. Their projects are built all over Belgium.

We are looking for someone who ideally meets the following conditions:

- Completed a relevant degree such as Master in Safety Sciences or Environmental Sciences

- Do you already have experience in the sector or function? Have you already worked with ISO systems? Then you are also eligible!

- You can handle great responsibility and freedom to make your own schedule 

- Communication is your strength: you will communicate daily with various parties such as the management team, colleagues, clients, architects,...
