Electrical R&D Engineer

As an electrical R&D engineer, your duties will be as follows:

• you report directly to R&D manager and work closely with your colleague's on automation projects
• You will work on optimisation and analysis of existing products and solutions and contribute to further improvements and new products
• you are responsible for designing new standard concepts for our mobile shelving and 1D shuttles product group
• you supervise projects from analysis to final realisation
• testing, debugging, creating manuals and providing training both internally and to end users
• You prepare electrical schematics's of installations of projects. You will discuss your concepts with our clients and our partners and/or subcontractors
• you stay abreast of the latest technology

As an electrical R&D engineer, you preferably meet the following competences:

• you preferably have a master's degree in electrical engineering
• you have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• you have a thorough knowledge of electricity: low, medium and high voltage
• you have a strong affinity with electrical systems and PLC (Siemens) and/or Matlab
• you have knowledge of Ethernet and Profibus standards
• you can work with AutoCaAD and Eplan
• You are a team player, dynamic and take initiative
• you speak Dutch and English
