Electrical draftsman

As an Electrical Draughtsman, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team and report directly to the Head of Engineering. With your experience in E-Plan and sign building, you will be a crucial link between sales and production, processing engineer-to-order orders.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing production files based on pre-established planning and priorities: taking into account deadlines, customer requirements and available resources, clear communication with all parties involved to complete projects on time and prioritise correctly.
• Execution of detailed drawings with an eye for best value for money: wiring diagrams, board and cabinet layout, one-lines, working drawings for production and 'as built' drawings for documentation, as well as labelling, engraving and coding.
• Following the entire production process from A to Z: technical support in consultation with the project leader, supporting the production department with sign building and installations, thinking along with the balance between functionality, safety and conformity of the electrical installation.
• Ensuring the right materials in cooperation with the purchasing department and the warehouse: optimal routing in the ERP system for new parts.
• Responsibility for optimisation projects in sign building together with the Engineering Manager.
• Contribute to the growth of the department by focusing on efficiency improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electricity or Electromechanics, or similar experience.
• Experience in sign building design and working with E-Plan.
• Knowledge of low voltage and electrical circuits.
• Strong affinity for creation, design and development of machinery.
• Fluent in Dutch, knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• Ability to develop, realise and follow up on ideas independently.
• Excellent planning skills and able to meet deadlines.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
