Electrical design engineer

As Electrical Design - Project Engineer, you will have a key role where you will be responsible for engineering the projects.

What will you do?

• Together with your colleague's, you will work out the electrical design on the supplied plans
• Design & builds
• Performing various electrical calculations
• Performing lighting studies, short-circuit and cable calculations
• Using AutoCad, SEE Electrical
• Discussing and submitting studies, designs to the customer
• Attending project meetings on design changes, together with the project manager
• Opportunities for advancement: responsible for the follow-up of project leaders
• Examine contracts and specifications to anticipate variants, additional billings, etc.
• Anticipating to customers in case of problems, additional costs, variants, etc. and communicating these to the customer in a timely manner
• Contribute to continuous optimisation of the project

As the ideal candidate for the Electrical Design - Project Engineer role, you have the following qualifications:

• Completed education in electrical engineering or a related field
• 0-3 years' work experience in a similar role
• Experience with AutoCAD and SEE Electrical is a plus
• Good command of both the Dutch and English languages
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving ability and proactive work attitude
