Dynamic bookkeeper A to Y

At our client, you will be responsible for the accurate booking and tracking of financial transactions and various entries of different companies. You will also play a crucial role in the invoicing process and management of debtors for various entities.
You will coordinate all accounting tasks related to your files, paying strict attention to both internal and external deadlines, including monthly, quarterly and annual closures. This also includes processing payroll, including reconciliation with payroll records from the social secretariat, and preparing VAT returns.
You will ensure the current updating of various journals, including purchase, sales, financial transactions and miscellaneous items, as well as the general ledger. The management and proper recording of fixed assets are also your responsibility.
You perform critical checks on various balance sheet items and constantly strive for process optimisation and improvement within your files. You will also support the Chief Accountant in various additional tasks, including year-end closing, and report directly to the Chief Accountant.

• At least a bachelor's degree in a financial or economic field, combined with at least 3 years' experience as an accountant.
• Be able to switch quickly between different files and be able to maintain an overview.
• Critical sense and always looking to improve.
• Smooth, clear and to-the-point communication.
• Stress-resistant, structured and results-oriented.
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of Navision / Business Central is a plus.
• Skilled with Excel and knowledge of MS Office (Word/Outlook).
• Knowledge of English/French is a plus.
