Our client offers a monthly gross salary depending on your knowledge and experience, which is supplemented with extra legal benefits such as meal vouchers, eco vouchers, hospitalisation insurance, etc.

Function

As a Data Analyst, you play an important strategic role in the data-driven organisation. As a member of the analysis team, you ensure that data remains at the basis of the most diverse strategic commercial decisions.

You get energy from getting to the bottom of complex issues and formulating relevant answers. In doing so, you will not only carry out analyses and draw up reports, but also present your conclusions and recommendations to the various departments.

As the owner of our data, you are not only responsible for monitoring and improving data quality, but you also work together with other departments to add new data to the database and thus continue to work on a 360-degree customer view.

In addition, you stay on top of the latest developments in the field of data and you work together with international colleagues on innovative projects in the field of analysis and reporting.

Your work will consist of:

  • Reporting. Both maintaining standard reports and developing new reports.
  • Analysing. In addition to ad hoc analyses at the request of various departments, you also make proactive proposals to analyse more complex or strategic issues.
  • Making recommendations. Results of reports and analyses are discussed and presented to the various stakeholders together with conclusions and recommendations.
  • Follow-up. You ensure that decisions taken are evaluated and you contact the stakeholders to make adjustments together.
  • Collaboration. As a point of contact for internal and external parties, you think along to formulate research questions as well as to identify reporting needs.
  • Monitoring. Together with the IT departments, you monitor the quality of data processes, identify problems and follow up their resolution.
  • Coordinating. Together with the experts in the group, you work on innovative projects, ranging from CRM systems to BI and AI.

Organisation

Our client is a powerful and dynamic international company. They are part of the world's largest retailer in the field of health & beauty. Ambitious professionals who seize opportunities, dare to make decisions and feel at home in an informal, no-nonsense and result-oriented organisation, can count on excellent future perspectives.

Profile

  • You have a Master's degree with applied knowledge of predictive statistics and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position (retail experience is a plus).
  • You have working experience with BI tools (BO, Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI,...).
  • You have an applied knowledge of SQL.
  • You have experience with R, Phyton or similar.
  • You have a fluent command of the Dutch language (spoken and written) and a good command of French and English.

  • You are precise and no detail escapes you.
  • You are communicative and proactive.
